Backpacks The All Time Pack

By Rene A Lacape

When I was a child, I can still vaguely remember that I disliked going to school. Although I had friends crawling around every corner of the school block, this reason still does not suffice of my hatred of waking up early in the morning and crawling out of the bed. Then, I believed teachers were my sworn enemy and I was playing a losing battle. They acted as if I was responsible for cursing their grandmother for seven generations! The fact that I wasn't exactly a genius in school does not help either.

To get children who don't enjoy school back in school for the first day of the term can be quite the challenge. The end of holidays would be a dreadful time for children and parents. Some children might even retaliate by refusing to go to school and it is the mornings that are the toughest time. The children might create an embarrassing scene that usually turns ugly.

To avoid this from happening again, my parents devised a plan. As the beginning of the school year approaches, they would bring me to the store to buy new supplies for class. I remember the best part of this was the purchase of new bags. My eyes grew as big as saucer cups as I stared at the endless rows of bags, beckoning to me with their vibrant colors and special features.

The new bag will change your child into a new person. It was not at all difficult to get your child to like school again. With the new bag, all he or she can think of is showing it off to their friends in school.

The backpack is handy as it can hold almost all the stuffs that a student has to bring to school. There is nothing more embarrassing than tripping over the skirt or something because you can't see where you are going. This image has been associated with nerds and losers. As we all know, students are very particular about images in school.

In contrary, the standard type of backpack is the two strap bag that is made from cloth like materials. The two straps allow an even distribution of weight on both shoulders, which means that the owner would not have a shoulder much sloppier than the other in the future. This handy feature enables more books and items to be carried along too. Students nowadays do not only look for the functional part of the bag. It must look well on them too. This culture has lead to a new generation of backpacks which utilizes fashion and design as well. Beachwear brands like Body Glove and Quicksilver offers a very trendy style with its brand name "splattered" alongside blots and patches of paint. Each bag is unique from each other and gives an impression of abstract art on the bag of each carrier. Sports brands such as Nike and Adidas has backpacks that are much simpler in terms of design, but highly sought among teenagers and youths as those brands are associated with celebrities and international sport stars.

The other version of backpack is the sling bag. This one strap bag is however not suitable to carry heavy stuffs with. They are nonetheless more fashionable compared to the conventional two strapped bags. They are actually suitable for short journeys, overnight stays and the gym. They are fashionable and suit all ages.

The sling bag is carried lightly over the shoulder. The strap is worn from the one side of the shoulder and falls on the other side of the waist. This way the weight is evenly distributed on the body. The only limitation of this bag is the small size which will not allow the user to carry too many things.

The backpacks will last for decades to come. The emergence of the wireless era might see the declining of books as media of education. However, notebook backpacks are becoming more and more in demand as it is more convenient.

The backpacks are a precious item for students. They will serve our children well into their higher education stage. - 30224
