Green Machine Toy - Kids And Teens Love This Big Wheel Tricycle

By Ledley Withenshaw

With Christmas just a hop, skip and jump away, plenty of parents will be wondering what to get their kids and trying to come up with an original idea for a present. The Green Machine 2 could be a great gift idea that will be cherished long after Christmas has passed.

It won't be one of those presents that sparks a child's imagination for a few days and then ends up on the growing pile of unused, unwanted and increasingly dust laden toys in the bedroom cupboard.

From the consumer comments that have been received, the Green machine 2 and it's predecessor are firm favorites and will be used for years to come. This short article will detail what you get with the Green Machine 2 and who would like it.

The Green machine 2 is the next generation Green Machine. In summation, it is a big wheel tricycle aimed at kids 6 years and up (don't be surprised to see the odd Dad on one too, as they seem to love the Green Machine just as much). You might think, what... a tricycle? That's for little kids isn't it? Well, yes and no.

You see this tricycle is turbo charged with features that can't be found on a standard tricycle. In short, it is a stunt tricycle that gives you the chance to perform all sorts of stunts and maneuvers that will have the adrenaline flowing and have your friends howling and screaming for more.

The machine is made by Huffy that have a long tradition in making bikes and even coming up with innovations in bike design and aesthetics (Do you remember the radio bike or more recently the bike fitted with water pistols). The Green machine 2 has a large front wheel (21 inch) that is the power source for the trike. Pedalling the big front wheel, via a crankshaft gives you the forward power. You can generate some handy speed up on a flat surface.

The innovation is in how you steer your machine. You have a dual control, like the joystick you might find in an airplane (only times 2). The dual control columns allow the rider to steer the rear wheels and apply a disk brake to the forward big wheel.

By messing around with the controls you can surprise yourself at the number of stunts you can pull, like'0, 360 and 540 degree turns. As the tricycle is so low to the ground and the control system ensures that you keep the center of gravity on the machine in the middle, it is unlikely that you will flip or tip over too. Once a child develops a little confidence in the machine he/she will be able to perform all sorts of stunts and will be eager to think up new tricks.

The Green Machine 2 will give your kids the opportunity to get plenty of exercise and develop confidence in their own abilities. It beats the heck out of video games and the trend towards wii fit as a way to get exercise. Go get some genuine exercise on a Green Machine 2 and get the lungs pumping. - 30224
