I know what you mean. There are so many choices to make to buy a unit how do you know which one to get? Well, regardless of the unit you do purchase you'll be in video and audio heaven regardless of your location since the units are so compact.
They come in all shapes and sizes along with a rainbow of colors and don't even get me started on all of the features available on the market. They can do everything you can think of!
Ok, lets cover some of the features now. There are Video MP3 Players that have only memory for the storage of the songs and there are also some players that only have hard drives to store the songs. Regardless of the one you get pay close attention to the amount of memory or hard drive storage it has.
To keep things simple, whichever one you decide on just understand they will perform pretty much the same. Meaning a unit with 1GB of storage for its hard drive is the same as a 1GB unit of memory.
Basically the bigger the memory / hard drive the more songs you can store on it. I suggest you get at least 4GB unit that will hold thousands of songs for you.
But of course there are much bigger sizes as well that range from 16GB to 80GB or 120GB for storage of your videos, music, photo's and more. If you are one who plans on having 10,000+ songs, thousands of videos, pictures and more then I am sure these units will serve you nicely.
I would hate to see anyone waste money by getting one that is more power then they will need. If your goal is to have less then 1000 songs and maybe watch some videos and have some pictures too then a 4GB size Video MP3 Player will be more suited for you.
But again, like I mentioned, if you must have ten's of thousands of MP3's, video's and photo's, images and other files at your fingertips then these much bigger units are for you. You will have to pay more for this privilege but it will be worth it to you I am sure. - 30224
