There Is Hope If You're Questioning "Why Can't I Get Pregnant?"

By Darla Kae

Most people tend to think getting pregnant is quite simple, when in fact this is not necessarily the case. After months or perhaps even years of attempts at becoming pregnant, you are probably asking over and over again, "Why can't I get pregnant?"

Take comfort in the fact that you are not alone in your struggles. There are many women experiencing the same type of questions and emotions, sometimes feeling guilty for their inability to become pregnant after such a long time.

But you should also take hope from the fact that many women have been able to conceive, despite all of the odds seemingly being against them.

Pregnancy: Not What You'd call Exact Science

Becoming pregnant is not a certainty by any means. For a lot of women who have struggled, the simple act of refusing to question or "try" anymore was enough to enable them to finally conceive.

Nonetheless, methods do exist which can boost your chances for becoming pregnant. Statistically, 75% of pregnancies come about after trying for longer than a month; therefore, if you choose the correct method and apply determination, it can happen -- even if not immediately.

Hello Doctor?

A visit with your doctor should be first on your to-do list. Though there are plenty of women out there asking, "Why can't I get pregnant?", the majority have absolutely nothing wrong with them. That said, there can sometimes be some sort of medical condition that warrants a doctor's expertise.

There are cases when a doctor advises that a woman's chances of pregnancy are low, without knowing the precise reason; and this causes quite a few women to simply give up. One way to look at this is to realize that most doctors practice medicine in a decided fashion. As you might imagine, other methods exist and are tried and true by plenty of women -- such as ancient, natural remedies.

Keep Trying

You should bear in mind that a number of factors can influence your chances of getting pregnant. Your age, stress and health can have a real impact. However, if you keep trying and find methods that even the doctors dont know about then you could join a group of many women who were told they never get pregnant but gave birth to healthy children!

Keep in mind that it could take a considerable amount of time; but the reward will make it all worthwhile. So stop obsessing over the "Why can't I get pregnant?" question and, instead, believe that in time nature will take its course if you give it a little nudge. - 30224
