America's Favorite Burger Joint

By Laura Hertz

There are scores of fast food burger chains throughout the country. It seems that every city or town has its share of a bunch of them. Whether it's McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic, Checkers or another regional chain like In N Out Burger, it seems like there are a ton of fast food options to choose from.

The hamburger is truly America's food, and there are so many varieties of them. From burgers like the Big Mac and the Whopper to more gourmet offerings out there, there's something for just about everyone.

In this summary I'll be analyzing some of the offerings throughout the country, trying to proclaim the best burger out there. Since local options aren't really feasible for most of you, I'll be focusing on nationwide chains. Some may be regional ones though.

Coming from someone who's eaten many burgers, I can say that it's really hard to narrow this down to just one or two, but I'm basing my answers on those of the masses here, as awards and surveys speak for themselves.

While the Big Mac, the Whopper, and some of the other more well known fast food burgers remain staples in America, the most successful feedback comes from In N Out Burger.

Patrons absolutely love the fact that its meat is never frozen and the fries are hand cut. Everything tastes extremely fresh for fast food, they say. You won't even have to spend much money for it.

In N Out does great with reviews but it's only present in the West coast. What won on the other side of the country? Well, the favorite burger of the East coast is Five Guys. Everyone in the East loves Five Guys, including United States president Barack Obama.

This is all obviously subject to opinion, but these represent the opinions of the masses, and that's what I aimed to bring you. Happy eating! - 30224
