One of the less known ways to get rid of acne, is to watch what foods you're eating. Although there is, at present, no scientific proof of a link between food and acne, if you notice a certain correlation between a type of food and your complexion, then discontinue it from your diet.

Drinking plenty of water is crucial in your fight against acne. So many acne sufferers get excessively dry skin, often due to the treatment they may be taking. Dryness of the skin can lead to increased irritation, and a higher chance of an outbreak. If you can drink 8 glasses a day, then you'll be keeping your skin hydrated, and less irritation will occur.
